Produce from last week was quite rancid. Ended up having to throw it out. Called in hopes of getting it resolved. Was told since they are a small business they don't resolve issues. Definitely good to know. Will not be back. Edit: I get off work at 6pm and my shift begins well before your store opens. Everyone can't make it within your now known 24 hour window.. Especially when I got the produce on a Saturday 7/18. Y'all aren't open again till Wednesday 7/22. & It slipped my mine to call until the next day Thursday 7/23. I just felt if y'all knew certain produce were overriped due to rain.. then it could've been some communication on that before purchase. Or at least have a date listed by the produce so ppl know what day it went out on the floor for sell.

This is our favorite grocery store in Chattanooga! We are so thankful to have found it and are encouraged to have a place where we can feed our family with peace of mind.

Tucked away inside a church building, this little market is bringing fresh produce to an area that doesn't seem to be very close to any of the national grocery chain stores. The bulk grains, herbs, spices and teas are apparently sourced from Azure Standard or Fronter Co-Op, while the produce, meats, cheese and eggs are sourced from local farmers. Also had honey and coffee from local places. Nice to have an option to buy these local items or to be able to buy in bulk without ordering wholesale, but just one of each type of item, so not somewhere to go if you are looking for something specific.

I was so excited that there is a grocery store selling local goods! I try to get my produce from local farmers, but my schedule doesn't always line up with the farmers market. Gaining Grounds has a lot of the same vendors with more availability. The staff was also really friendly and ready to answer questions. Next time I'll bring some jars to stock up on dry goods package free. So grateful for this spot!
